Arsenal manager determined to keep Nasri and Fabregas

Nasri has just one year remaining on his current contract and is understood to have attracted the interest of several clubs, including Premier League rivals Manchester United.

However, Wenger has warned any potential suitors that they will find it difficult to secure the Frenchman's services this summer.

The Gunners manager believes Emirates Stadium is the best place for the 23-year-old to continue his progression, having developed into a world-class performer since joining from Marseille in 2008.

And he feels that if Arsenal can hold on to their star men this summer, it will become much easier in future.

Wenger is trying to improve his squad before next season and has been linked with the likes of Karim Benzema and Gervinho as he searches for a new striker.
"Everyone is looking to reinforce their attack as it's always important to improve in that area of the team," Wenger continued.
"We're also after an experienced defender, maybe one who is already used to life in the Premier League. That has been our weakness.
"But you should remember that we still had a better defence last season than a lot of other good teams, including Manchester City."
